Janet Jackson has often battled weight problems and has gained and lost pounds quickly at times. In the spring of 2011, during an international tour, she showed off a slimmer body Jackson's chef, Andre Carthen, told OnTheRedCarpet.com that Jackson's diet consists of Sloppy Joes, baked vegetables and veggie bites, which are veggies, eggs and a hint of cheese mixed together.
In late 2011, she became a spokesmodel for NutriSystem. She told People magazine just before her 46th birthday in May 2012 that she avoids scales.
