Pete Wentz, an American musician known for his work with the band 'Fall Out Boy,' and wife Ashlee Simpson, a musician known for songs such as 'Pieces of Me,' 'Outta My Head' and 'La La' gave birth to son Bronx Mowgli Wentz on Nov. 20, 2008. Wentz said the reason they gave Bronx the middle name Mowgli was because 'The Jungle Book' was something he and Simpson bonded over, according to People magazine. This was the first child for Simpson and Wentz; the two filed for divorce in February 2011.
The name Bronx has an American origin and means 'Bronck's Land.' The name Mowgli is of English origin, is the boy character in the novel 'The Jungle Book' by Rudyard Kipling.
