Ben Stiller is No. 5 on Forbes' 2012 list of highest-paid actors. The outlet said he earned about $33 million between May 2011 and May 2012.
During that time, he appeared in the comedy film 'Tower Heist' with Eddie Murphy. The movie made $152 million worldwide. He also co-produced the film '30 Minutes or Less,' which stars Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride and Nick Swardson and made $40 million, and the movie 'The Big Year,' which flopped at the box office.
Stiller reprised his character of Alex the Lion in 'Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted,' which was released on June 8, 2012 and made $426 million. He also stars in the comedy movie 'The Watch,' which stars Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill and hits theaters on July 27.
Stiller was No. 6 on Forbes' annual list in 2011. The outlet reported that he had earned about $34 million between May 2010 and May 2011.
