Adam Sandler is No. 3 on Forbes' 2012 list of highest-paid actors. The outlet said he earned about $37 million between May 2011 and May 2012.
During that time, the actor played a man and his sister in the cross-dressing comedy 'Jack and Jill,' which also starred Katie Holmes. The movie won all 10 categories at the 2012 Razzie Awards, including Worst Picture, setting a new record for the annual ceremony, which 'Dis-Honors' the most terrible movies of the year. It also made $149 million at the global box office.
Sandler also provided the voice of a monkey in the comedy movie 'Zookeeper,' which stars Kevin James. The film made more than $169 million worldwide. Sandler serves as a producer on most of his films nowadays, including those two. He also produced and starred in 'That's My Boy' with Andy Samberg. It was a box office flop.
Sandler can be seen next in 'Grown Ups 2,' a 2013 sequel to a 2010 comedy, and provides the voice of Dracula in the animated movie 'Hotel Transylvania.'
Sandler was No. 3 on Forbes' annual list in 2011 as well. The outlet said he earned $40 million between May 2010 and May 2011.
