Amy Poehler, 39, was the first celebrity mentioned in Time's 100 Most Influential People in the World list, due to her fresh spin on comedy. The comedian and star of NBC's 'Parks and Recreation' was a cast-member on 'Saturday Night Live' from 2001 to 2008 and was one of the founders of the Upright Citizens Brigade theatres.
"In comedy, a lot of what you see feels derivative and uninspired; with Amy there is
always something fresh and unexpected, and that's why I love her work," Aziz Ansari wrote of his
co-star in 'Parks and Recreation.'
