2 of 3: Joshua Leonard also continued to act following the release of 'The Blair Witch Project' in 1999.

He appeared in episodes of shows such as the horror series 'The Outer Limits' and 'NYPD Blue' and also starred in films such as the 2003 drama 'Two Days,' which featured Paul Rudd. In 2004, he voiced the part of villain Tyler Durden in a video game based on the movie 'Fight Club.' A year later, he nabbed the recurring role of Jim Markham on the show 'CSI: Miami.'

In 2009, Leonard played the recurring part of Tanya's love interest Pierce on the HBO series "Hung," which was canceled in December 2011.

That year, Leonard appeared in the 2011 film 'Shark Night 3D' with Katharine McPhee, an 'American Idol' finalist' and star of NBC's show 'Smash,' and in Vera Farmiga's directorial debut 'Higher Ground.'

Also in 2011, he shot several more films - the dark comedy 'Cooler' with 'The Big Bang Theory' star Jim Parsons, 'Plastic Jesus,' with 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' actress Mackenzie Foy, 'The Motel Life' with Dakota Fanning and Stephen Dorff and the drama movie 'Unicorns.' Leonard also made his feature film directorial debut with the movie 'The Lie,' which stars his former 'Hung' co-star Jane Adams.

He also battled an addiction to drugs and alcohol for 13 years.

'Addiction is .. so incideous,' Leonard said in a Dec. 14, 2011 video filmed for Drugfree.org's 'You Are Not Alone' campaign. ''I once got arrested for a drug possession charge on the way into a courthouse in New York ... for a drug possession charge. The disease of addiction is a very powerful one. I was very fortunate to be in a situation where I had family who stepped in. If not for the support around me, I don't think there's any chance that I'd still be alive.'
