The 'Modern Family' star tops Forbes' 2012 list of Highest Paid TV Actresses. According to the financial magazine's annual reporting, released on July 18, the actress earned $19 million from her television role, movie roles and endorsement deals between May 2011 and May 2012.
During that time period Vergara appeared as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on 'Modern Family,' which earned her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. She lost the Emmy to her 'Modern Family' co-star Julie Bowen and the Golden Globe to 'American Horror Story' actress Jessica Lange.
She also had roles in films like 'The Three Stooges,' 'New Year's Eve' and 'The Smurfs' and lent her voice to 'Happy Feet 2.'
The actress, who turned 40 on July 10, also scored endorsement deals in English with Cover Girl and Diet Pepsi and Spanish with Burger King, Comcast and State Farm. Vergara launched a clothing line with Kmart that reportedly earned her a seven-figure advance, Forbes reports.
Vergara is also one half of a management company called Latin World Entertainment.
It was recently reported that Vergara became engaged during her birthday vacation to on-again-off-again boyfriend Nick Lobe. However, Vergara and Lowe have not confirmed the reports.
Vergara will appear on the fourth season of 'Modern Family' in the fall.
