5 of 8: Woody Allen's film 'Midnight in Paris' was among the movies nominated for a 2012 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

'It's an honor to be among this gang,' cast member Kathy Bates, who plays writer Gertrude Stein in the film, said in a statement.

The film depicts an engaged couple's trip to Paris. While there, Wilson's character, a blocked writer named Gil, retreats from his fiance, played by Rachel McAdams, and her parents. He is drawn into a mysterious adventure that he has romanticized, while McAdams's character gets charmed by the repugnant intellectual Paul, played by real-life boyfriend Michael Sheen.
