Woody Allen's film 'Midnight in Paris' was among the movies nominated for a 2012 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
'It's an honor to be recognized by your peers and I thank my fellow SAG members for this nomination and am proud to have been a part of such an incredible ensemble, as well as Woody Allen's vision,' cast member Owen Wilson said in a statement.
The film depicts an engaged couple's trip to Paris. While there, Wilson's character, a blocked writer named Gil, retreats from his fiance, played by Rachel McAdams, and her parents. He is drawn into a mysterious adventure that he has romanticized, while McAdams's character gets charmed by the repugnant intellectual Paul, played by real-life boyfriend Michael Sheen.
