Roles actors almost played

21 of 24: Matt Damon and Brad Pitt sought the role of Dick Eklund in 'The Fighter,' but the role was ultimately played by Christian Bale. A good choice, considering Bale won a 2011 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for the part.
