Harrison Ford starred as Dr. Henry Walton 'Indiana' Jones, Jr. in the 1981 movie. He reprised his role as the adventurous archeology professor in three other films. In the original movie, Jones is in search of the Ark of the Covenant and is trying to beat the Nazis to its location as Adolf Hitler believes the artifact has the power to make his army invincible.
Ford, who had a successful run as Han Solo in 'Star Wars' before donning the brown fedora hat to become Indiana Jones, continued to have a successful career in Hollywood after the first film with hits like 'Clear and Present Danger,' 'The Fugitive,' 'Air Force One,' and 'What Lies Beneath.' Ford reprised his role as Indiana Jones in the 2008 movie 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,' with 'Raiders' co-star Karen Allen and Shia LaBeouf. The actor will also co-star with Daniel Craig and Olivia Wilde in the 2011 summer blockbuster 'Cowboys & Aliens.'
Ford has been married three times and has two sons from his first wife Mary Marquardt and a son and a daughter from his second wife, screenwriter Melissa Mathison. He and actress Calista Flockhart began dating in 2002 after meeting at the Golden Globes and were wed in June 2010. Ford is also a father to Flockhart's adopted son Liam.
