Mayik Bialik received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler on the CBS sitcom 'The Big Bang Theory.'
The actress, formerly known for her title role in the 1990s comedy series 'Blossom,' told Entertainment Weekly that her publicist told her about the nod over the phone. At the time, she was making cereal for her son Frederick, 3, at a friend's Atlanta home. She is staying there with him and her other son, Miles, who is 6.
When asked how she planned on celebrating, she said: 'We're taking our boys to Legoland here in Atlanta and my best friend said she would buy me two vegan cupcakes today!'
