Oscars: 11 Past Best Picture winners

1 of 11: 'The King's Speech' won Best Picture in 2011. In the movie, Colin Firth portrays stuttering UK monarch King George VI. Helena Bonham Carter stars as his wife, Queen Elizabeth and Geoffrey Rush portrays the king's speech therapist.

'The King's Speech' was nominated for 12 Academy Awards and won four -- Colin Firth won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, screenwriter David Seilder won the Academy Award for Best Writing (Original Screenplay) and Tom Hooper won for Best Directing.
