9 of 11: Adrien Brody won his first Oscar in 2003 for his performance as Wladyslaw Szpilman in the 'Pianist'. The film follows a Jewish-Polish musician and his struggles in Nazi-occupied Warsaw during World War II. Brody set a new record at the age of 29, as he replaced Richard Dreyfuss and became the youngest actor to win the Oscar for Best Actor. This was Brody's first nomination. (A.M.P.A.S.)
