Alan Arkin earned a 2013 Oscar nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his role in 'Argo,' which scored a total of seven nods. The film is also nominated for Best Picture.

This marks the 79-year-old actor's fourth nomination. He won the Oscar for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 2007 for 'Little Miss Sunshine.' He was also nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 1967 for 'The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming' and in 1969 for 'The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter.'
