Oscars 2013: Nominees' reactions

5 of 11: 'Argo' earned seven 2013 Oscar nominations including a nod for Best Picture. The film's producers Grant Heslov, Ben Affleck and George Clooney, released a statement reacting to 'Argo' receiving the Best Picture nomination.

'We would like to thank the Academy for acknowledging 'Argo' in this extraordinary way. This is a great tribute to everyone who worked on the film -- from our incredible cast to our tremendous crew,' the statement said. 'We are honored to have made a film that tells the story of these unsung heroes and it's so terrific that it's getting this kind of recognition.'
