Anne Hathaway earned a 2013 Oscar nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in 'Les Miserables,' which scored a total of eight nods. The film is also nominated for Best Picture.
'Well, I think the fact that everyone was saying [my nomination] was a lock was flattering, but it terrified me. I thought it wasn't going to happen because fate has been tempted,' she told The Los Angeles Times on Thursday, January 10. 'So when I found out, I just started gulping air. I was a little nervous I was going to pass out. Hyperventilating gave way to crying -- it was a full-on display of emotions.'
This marks the 30-year-old actress' second nomination. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the 2009 film 'Rachel Getting Married.' The actress co-hosted the award show in 2011 with actor James Franco.
