'Silver Linings Playbook,' which has a total of eight nominations this year, is the first film since Warren Beatty's 1981 movie 'Reds' to score nominations in all four acting categories with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence scoring nods for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role and Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver also received nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role.
