2 of 10: Spencer Elden is the naked, swimming baby on the cover of Nirvana's 'Nevermind' album. He told CNN that he got the 'modeling' gig because the photographer, Kirk Weddle, was a friend of his father. Elden turned 20 in February 2011.

'[He] calls us up and was like, 'Hey Rick, wanna make 200 bucks and throw your kid in the drink?,' his father said in 2008. 'I was like, 'What's up?' And he's like, 'Well, I'm shooting kids all this week, why don't you meet me at the Rose Bowl, throw your kid in the drink?' And we just had a big party at the pool, and no one had any idea what was going on!'

Billboards depicting the album's cover image popped up weeks later. Two weeks after 'Nevermind's release, Geffen Records sent 1-year-old Spencer Elden a platinum album and a teddy bear, CNN said.

In 2010, Elden lived in Los Angeles and worked as an artist for Shepard Fairey Obey label.

'My nickname is 'Nirvana baby,' he said in an interview provided by the company. 'It's kind of a fun facts about me, I guess.'
