Lindsay Lohan portrayed 16-year-old homeschooled student Cady Heron in 'Mean Girls,' what many critics consider to be her breakout film role. Cady transfers to North Shore High School in Illinois, where she befriends two misfits, Janis and Damien, and together plot against the school's most exclusive clique, 'The Plastics.'
Lohan's tumultuous personal and legal troubles have often overshadowed her once-promising film career. The actress has served five stints in jail and recently completed her sixth stint in rehab. Her film credits include 'The Parent Trap,' 'Freaky Friday,' 'Georgia Rule,' 'The Canyons' and the Lifetime original movie 'Liz and Dick.'
In March 2014, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) began airing the reality series 'Lindsay,' which documented Lohan's journey to rebuilding her life and career following her most recent rehab stint.
