J.R. Martinez, 28, is an actor, spokesman and retired soldier. Martinez portrayed Brot Monroe on ABC's daytime drama 'All My Children.' He experienced severe burns over 40 percent of his body while serving as a United States Army infantryman in Iraq. After his recovery, Martinez traveled the country as a motivational speaker.
