20 of 22: Julia Louis-Dreyfus was nominated for a 2013 Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy for her role as senator-turned U.S. vice president in the HBO series 'Veep.'

'The reason that I do this job is to serve, not to receive accolades and trophies,' the actress said in a statemet. 'That said, I'm freakin' stoked. God bless America and the Hollywood Foreign Press, specifically.'

The actress won an Emmy for her role in September. 'Veep' did not receive any other Golden Globe nominations this year.
Louis-Dreyfus won her first Golden Globe in 1994 for her role as Elaine on 'Seinfeld,' the comedy show that made her famous, and has been nominated for one a total of four times. She also won an Emmy for 'Seinfeld' and one for her title part on the sitcom 'The New Adventures of Old Christine.'
