Madeleine Stowe is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series - Drama for her role as scheming Victoria on the ABC drama series 'Revenge,' which debuted in 2011.
The actress, who is also known for her part as Daniel Day-Lewis' love interest in the 1992 film 'The Last of the Mohicans,' said in a statement in response to her nod: 'The nomination has absolutely stunned me. I'm so grateful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for their recognition of 'Revenge' so early on in the show's life, to Mike Kelley, our gifted creator, for conjuring up an animal like Victoria, and to Phillip Noyce, the brazen and bold director who brought us so much guidance.'
'Emily VanCamp is my partner in evil doing and I'm lucky to be onscreen with her and the rest of our gifted cast,' the actress added about the actress who plays her character's nemesis. 'This is a happy, if unexpected moment. I'll need a bourbon at wrap.'
This is Stowe's first individual Golden Globe nomination.
