Golden Globes 2012 - Nominees react

10 of 11: Sinead O'Connor was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song for her song 'Lay Your Head' from the film 'Albert Nobbs.' The song was written by Glenn Close who also nabbed a nod for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for her role in the film.

'I am so happy that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has chosen to acknowledge 'Lay Your Head Down,'' O'Connor said in a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com. 'The beautiful music by Brian Byrne and the absolutely wonderful lyrics by Glenn Close immediately touched me and made me feel proud and privileged to have been asked to lend my voice to their work, to the song and to the film, 'Albert Nobbs.''
