Golden Globes 2012 - Nominees react

1 of 11: Zooey Deschanel was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy for her role as in the FOX series 'New Girl,' which debuted in the fall of 2011. The show also received a nod for Best Television Series - Comedy Or Musical.

'Omg. OMG. speechless!' Deschanel said on her Twitter page in response to the news.

Deschanel plays a quirky young adult named Jess who moves in with three single men after a bad breakup with her boyfriend. This marks her first Golden Globe nomination.
