5 of 9: Ernie Hudson played Winston Zeddmore in the 'Ghostbusters' movies. Since the release of the second one in 1989, he has appeared in films such as 'Miss Congeniality,' a 2000 comedy film starring Sandra Bullock as a cop who infiltrates a beauty pageant, as well as in its 2005 sequel.

In recent years, he has found the most success as a television star.

Between 1997 and 2003, Hudson played tough prison warden Leo Glynn on the HBO series 'Oz.' He also played Detective Ridley on several episodes of the ABC drama 'Desperate Housewives' and Frank Gibson on the NBC crime series 'Law and Order,' between 2009 and 2010.

Hudson has portrayed Kenny on the ABC Family show 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' since 2008 and has voiced Agent William Fowler on the animated series 'Transformers Prime' since 2010. Also in 2013, he appeared in the TV film 'Call Me Crazy: A Five Film' and in an episode of ABC's 'Scandal.'

Hudson has four children from two marriages. His son Ernie Hudson Jr. played Hamid Khan on 'Oz.' The elder Hudson has been married to his second wife, Linda, since 1985.
