5 of 25: George Clooney dropped out of Northern Kentucky University to make a low-budget movie with his cousin and friend, Miguel Ferrer.

After Clooney nabbed a small role in the film, he decided to give acting a full-time shot and moved to Los Angeles the following year, according to People magazine.
