1 of 10: Tyler Perry tops Forbes' 2011 list of highest-paid men in entertainment with $130 million in earnings from May 2010 to May 2011.

Perry has his own film studio and has created shows such as 'Meet The Browns' and 'House of Payne' as well as the 'Madea' film franchise. In April, TBS announced it had canceled 'House of Payne' but that it will air a third series by Perry, 'For Better or Worse,' which is based on his 'Why Did I Get Married' comedy movies.

In August 2011, the New York Times reported that Perry was involved in negotiations to receive his own cable channel called 'Tyler TV.' As of September 2011, nothing has been finalized.
