9 of 11: Richard Edson played a city garage attendant who takes the Ferrari owned by the father of Ferris Bueller's friend Cameron on a joyride along with his colleague in the 1986 comedy film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'

Before he began his on-screen acting career, Edson was the original drummer for the rock band Sonic Youth in the early 1980s. He left the group to concentrate on his music with another band, Konk.

Aside from 'Ferris Bueller,' Edson also appeared in the 1986 movie 'Platoon,' which stars his 'Ferris Bueller' co-star Charlie Sheen. Edson also had roles in films such as 'Good Morning, Vietnam' in 1987 and 'Super Mario Bros.' in 1993, which saw him play Spike, a goon who works for King Koopa, played by Dennis Hopper.

Edson has appeared on shows such as 'ER,' 'Homicide: Life on the Street,' 'Cold Case' and in 2010, 'Numb3rs.'
