7 of 11: Jennifer Grey played Ferris Bueller's spiteful older sister Jeanie in the 1986 comedy film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off.'

She dated her on-screen brother, Matthew Broderick, who portrays the main character. The two revealed their relationship after they were involved in a car crash in Ireland in 1987.

The head-on collision left the occupants of the other car, a mother and daughter, dead, while Broderick was severely injured, People magazine reported. Grey later suffered from chronic pain as a result of the accident.

Around early 2010, Grey had surgery to alleviate the pain - which consisted of having a titanium plate secured with screws in her neck. During the process, doctors discovered she had thyroid cancer. They removed her thyroid and she did not need to undergo more treatments.

Grey is also known for playing Baby in the 1987 film 'Dirty Dancing' alongside Patrick Swayze. Grey later went on to appear in several television movies throughout the next 20 years and also played Mindy on an episode of 'Friends' in 1995. She also had guest roles on shows such as 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' in 2009 and 'House M.D.' in 2010.

Also in 2010, she was a contestant on the 11th season of 'Dancing With The Stars' and won the ABC ballroom dancing reality show along with partner Derek Hough.

In 2012, Grey filmed the movie 'In Your Eyes,' a sci-fi romance film that also stars 'Twilight's Nikki Reed.

Grey and 'Avengers' actor Clark Gregg , who played Richard Campbell on 'The New Adventures of Old Christine,' married in 2001. Their daughter Stella was born in December of that year.
