In the 1986 comedy film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,' popular, charismatic high school kid Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) decides to pretend he's sick and ditch classes for a day so he can take his girlfriend Sloane (Mia Sara) and best friend Cameron (Alan Ruck) on a joyride around town.
