Conrad Murray trial: Meet the jurors

15 of 18: Juror ALTERNATE No. 3 is a 53-year-old single woman who describes herself as 'Mexican-American' who lives in the Elysian Valley area of California and was born in Los Angeles .

She has a college degree in Biology and has worked as a judicial assistant in a civil courtroom for the past 25 years. She also worked in the past in libraries and as a cashier at McDonalds.

She says she does not consider herself a fan of Michael Jackson, who she thinks 'died too young.'

The woman's hobbies include knitting, reading and volunteering 'as a catechist at two parishes.'

The woman says she follows the news on weekends and gets most of her information on current events from television and radio. She also reads the Los Angeles Times. She says she never visits entertainment websites such as TMZ. and has never accessed or read blogs about Conrad Murray or Jackson.

The woman says she has followed news about publicized court cases, such as the trials of O.J. Simpson and Casey Anthony.

She says that prior to the start of the trial, she had heard about the case from television reports but did not follow the news closely.

The woman says she has some experience with the medications that caused Jackson's overdose - she says she 'was once prescribed Ativan (Lorazepam) but never took it.'
