Juror No. 12 is a 54-year-old divorced, white man who was born in Washington, D.C. and lives in Altadena, California.
He works as a college professor and has past professional experience in the fields of art and animation and worked as an animator for Disney and other film studios.
He says he considers himself a fan of Michael Jackson, adding: 'Just the music CDs and LPs, since I was a young teen.'
His hobbies and interests include photography, classic films, traveling, gardening, reading and hiking.
The man says he rarely follows the news and gets most of his information on current events from radio and magazines. He did not specify if he visits any entertainment news websites such as TMZ and has never accessed or read blogs about Conrad Murray or Jackson.
He says that prior to the start of the trial, he had heard reports about the case on the radio and on television but did not follow the news closely.
The man says he has followed news about other publicized court cases, such as the trial of O.J. Simpson.
He says he has no experience with the medications that caused Jackson's overdose.
