Jonathan Lipnicki rose to stardom at age 5 in 1996 as Renee Zellweger's son in 'Jerry Maguire'. He also starred in the movie 'Stuart Little,' had recurring role on 'The Jeff Foxworthy Show' in the late 1990's, played Buzz Thompson in several episodes of the teen series 'Dawson's Creek' in 2000 and guest starred on the show 'Glenn Martin DDS' in 2009.
Lipnicki made headlines in October 2010 when he was parodied on the hit animated sitcom "Family Guy", which mocked his look as an adult and called him "hideous". He voiced a character on the show in 2005.
In 2011, Lipnicki starred in a Los Angeles production of the Tony Award-nominated play 'The Lieutenant of Inishmore.'
The actor also filmed the movie 'Tag' with 'Superbad' actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The film tells of two brothers who have a deadly disease and are fighting over the same girl, played by Scout Taylor-Compton.
Lipnick also starred in the 2011 movie 'For the Love of Money.' The "Jewish gangster" flick is set in the 1970s and tells of the true story of real estate developer Izek Shomof. Lipnicki plays an Israeli man named Yoni. The movie also stars James Caan, Jeffrey Tambor, Israeli-born actor Oded Fehr of 'The Mummy'" and 'Terminator 2' actor Edward Furlong, another former child star.
Also in 2011, Lipnicki made his producing debut with the film 'Broken Roads.'
The movie stars Oscar nominee Sally Kirkland as well as Aidan Bristow, Shoshana Bush and Ross Marquand and tells of a young New Jersey teenager who loses his mother in a car accident and moves to Colorado to live with his grandmother. The two have never met before and try to bond over the tragedy.
Lipnicki, who is now 21, is one of three executive producers of the film, set for release in 2012. His is currently promoting the movie at press events. The actor, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu buff, can be seen in new celebrity photos posted on websites such as the New York Daily News, which show him shirtless and sporting impressive abs and a Star of David tattoo.
