Regina King, who turned 42 on January 15, 2013, made her acting debut on '227' as Brenda Jenkins. The show ran between 1985 and 1990. She also starred in the movie 'Boyz n the Hood,' 'Higher Learning' and 'Jerry Maguire' as well as the FOX spy series '24.' She now stars on the TNT cop drama 'Southland.'
