Charlie Sheen was fired from 'Two and a Half Men' on Monday, March 7, 2011, more than a week after production on the CBS series' eighth season was halted amid his rants against it's co-creator Chuck Lorre.
Sheen had been rambling in TV and radio interviews as well as in online webcasts. In recent days, they have become more incoherent and profanity-laced. A webcast posted online a day before the firing featured the actor holding a lit lighter in front of the camera, comparing scripted television to cat droppings and acting ambivalent about his recently-deceased pet dog.
