45 of 194: Rosie O'Donnell announced to her television audience on December 5, during a taping of 'The Rosie Show' that she is engaged to her girlfriend Michelle Rounds. They had met at a Starbucks and first stepped out together publicly on September 19 at O'Donnell's annual Rosie Theater Kids Gala in New York City.

The two wed on June 9, 2012 in a private ceremony. O'Donnell announced the news more than two months later, on Aug. 27, 2012. They had postponed their wedding plans after Rounds was diagnosed with Desmoid tumors. She had surgery in June.

'We married in private / before her surgery / just the 2 of us (sic),' O'Donnell said on her blog, referring to Rounds as her wife.'

Almost two weeks prior, O'Donnell underwent her own health scare - she was hospitalized after suffering a heart attack.

'When we r both well enough / will have the wedding of r dreams / surrounded by those we cherish thankful for the love and support. So many have given us / during these trying times (sic),' O'Donnell added.
