'Real Housewives of D.C.' star Michaele Salahi got engaged to Journey guitarist Neal Schon on Oct. 14, 2012. He proposed to her on stage at his band's benefit concert for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at the Lyric Opera Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
Months earlier, she finalized her divorce from her husband and fellow White House 'crasher' Tareq. The two had earned the nicknames in 2009 after they were accused of entering a White House banquet without an official invitation. They denied they "crashed" the event but gained some fame and were cast on the short-lived Bravo series "The Real Housewives of D.C."
In September 2011, Salahi reported his wife missing. She had left him to be with Schon. He then received an email from the guitarist with a photo attachment of the musician's genitals. After Salahi left her husband, she appeared in Journey video for the single 'Resonate.' She later filed for divorce. It was finalized in August. In February 2012, her ex sued her and Schon for $50 million. The lawsuit was dismissed.
Schon has been married four times before and has five children, according to The Washington Post, which also published a photo of Salahi's 11.42-carat oval diamond engagement ring.
