Marie Osmond remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig, on Wednesday, May 4 on what would have been her late son Michael's 20th birthday, her spokesperson confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com.
The actress and singer and Craig, a former basketball player, wed in a private ceremony at the Las Vegas Mormon Temple and celebrated at a reception at their Nevada home, People magazine reported, adding that Osmond wore the same wedding dress she wore at the couple's first wedding.
Osmond, sister of Donny, and Stephen first married in 1982 and are parents to a son, also named Stephen, who is now 28. Osmond filed for divorce in 1985, citing mental cruelty.
She married record producer Brian Blosil in 1986 after meeting him less than a year earlier. They had seven children. Their son Michael, one of five children that they had adopted, committed suicide in February 2010 at age 18.
He was born on May 4, 1991, which is 20 years before the day of the second wedding between Osmond and Craig. It is also the day of what would have been the birthday of the singer's mother, Olive, who died in 2004 at age 79.
Osmond and Blosil were separated for several months after she suffered portpartum depression in 1998 following the birth of her third biological child, Matthew. The couple reconciled but announced in 2007 that they were divorcing.
