'We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow,' the two added. 'In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party. An evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family.'
A photo of an invitation to the couple's event in Nashville, schedule for June 10, was also posted on the website. It said the celebration will include 'dancing, photos, memories and drinks with alcohol in them.'
'This is only for close personal friends and family, so please, no plus ones or dead beats,' it says. 'Please help us celebrate together this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage with our best friends and animals.'
Jack White was previously married to fellow White Stripes singer Meg White. They divorced in 2000 after four years of marriage. They announced in February 2011 that the White Stripes would stop recording and performing.
During their time as a couple, Jack White and Meg White often told reporters they were brother and sister. Jack White, who was born Jack Gillis, had taken her last name after their married.
