20 of 192: Ray Price, a popular country music singer with over 100 hit songs, died on Dec. 16, 2013, at the age of 87.

Prince died at his ranch outside Mount Pleasant. The singer had been discharged from East Texas Medical Center in Tyler earlier that month. He had been in and out of the hospital in recent months as he was being treated for cancer and its complications.

Price was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2011. It later spread to his liver, intestines and lungs, according to The Associated Press.

The singer is likely best known for his version of the Kris Kristofferson song "For the Good Times." His other country hits included "Crazy Arms," ''Release Me," ''The Same Old Me," ''Heartaches by the Number," ''City Lights" and "Too Young to Die."
