Lee Thompson Young was found dead at age 29 on Monday, Aug. 19.
The actor, who was the former star of the Disney Channel's 'The Famous Jett Jackson' and co-starred on the TNT series 'Rizzoli & Isles,' was found dead in his North Hollywood apartment at 9:15 a.m. on Monday by a co-worker who went to check in on him, the Los Angeles Police Department told KABC Television, OTRC.com's parent company. Young had a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head, police said.
Young is likely best known for his playing the lead role on the Disney series 'The Famous Jett Jackson,' which aired from 1998 to 2001.
