Mitch Lucker, lead singer for the metal band Suicide Silence, was pronounced dead on November 1, 2012, following a tragic motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach, Calif. He was 28-years-old.
'There's no easy way to say this. R.I.P. Mitchell Adam Lucker - We Love You Brother,' the band said in a statement.'There will be a candlelight vigil held for Mitch tonight at 8pm in Huntington Beach at Main St. and 12th. Open to all.'
Around 8:55 p.m. on October 31, Lucker lost control of his Harley Davidson and collided with a light pole, throwing him from his motorcycle. His Harley continued giong down the street and hit a pickup truck, but no one else was injured. The singer was transported to the hospital, but died shortly after 6 a.m. the following day.
The evening of the accident, Lucker posted a photo of himself wearing Dias De Los Muertos makeup on his Instagram account and wrote, 'The dead are living...'
Lucker's widow, Jolie Carmadella said that her husband had been drinking and that she was 'begging him not to leave the house,' according to Starpulse. The pair have a 5-year-old daughter named Kenadee.
