Ryan Murphy, co-creator of 'Glee,' 'American Horror Story' and NBC's new show 'The New Normal,' and husband David Miller told family members and friends via email that they welcomed a baby boy named Logan Phineas Miller Murphy on the morning of December 24 -- Christmas Eve, according to E! Online, which added that message contained a picture of the newborn lying inside a Christmas stocking. Murphy posted a photo of their newborn son on his Twitter page on Jan. 1, 2013.
'Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Logan is one week old and doing great. Happy new year!' he Tweeted.
The mother of their reported new child was not revealed. Murphy's latest TV show, 'The New Normal,' is a comedy about a male gay couple about to become parents to a baby born to a surrogate woman. The showrunner told Vogue magazine in an interview published in mid-September that he and Miller, who had wed on the 4th of July, wanted kids and were 'exploring surrogacy.'
