Mariah Carey was announced as the latest Brand Ambassador for the Jenny Craig company on Nov. 9, 2011 and says she has lost 30 pounds since starting its weight loss and diet program in late July, three months after she gave birth to twins.
The singer showed off her slimmer figure on the OWN cable program 'The Rosie Show.' She was lowered onto the stage on a crescent moon-shaped prop and was helped up by two men in suits, who escorted her to O'Donnell, who gave her a hug.
Carey and husband Nick Cannon welcomed son and daughter Moroccan and Monroe in April.
Carey, whose height spans 5-foot-9-inches, also spoke about her weight loss in an interview with Gayle King, who also hosts her own show on OWN.
'"I was a wreck,' Carey told King. 'I was a pregnant wreck. I just passed a pregnant woman on the way in here. I was like in my mind, 'You're going to get through it. The nurse who was taking my weight when I went for my check-ups (during my pregnancy) ... she was like, if you don't want to look, you don't have to. And I was like, 'I won't.' I knew it was a number that I never want to see again. Huge! Enormous!''
'I had two six-pounders,' she added about her twins' weight. 'I had a lot of health issues. I had like no bones for a while. I was like, 'What happened to my clavicle? It wasn't that I so much .. the over-eating. It was like, maybe the portions weren't what they should have been. I've never had a scale (at home). The last time I weighed myself .. was when the 'My All' single was out. That was the last time I had a true understanding of my weight.'
The song was released in 1998 and was featured on Carey's sixth studio album, 'Butterfly.' Carey says she hopes to lose more weight on the Jenny Craig program.
