25 of 45:
Charlie Sheen, 45, went to rehab for the first time in the summer of 1990 for treatment of alcohol addiction and returned in May 1998 after trying to inject himself with cocaine.
In early 2010, he took a break from his TV show 'Two and a Half Men' and entered a treatment facility as a 'preventative measure' ahead of a hearing on a domestic violence case involving wife Brooke Mueller. Sheen pleaded guilty in August 2010 to a misdemeanor assault charge regarding a December confrontation with her and was sentenced to 30 days in a rehabilitation center, 30 days of probation and 36 hours of anger management.
'Two and a Half Men' suspended production in January 2011 amid Sheen's turmoil. In February 2011, producers shut down filming for the remainder of the eighth season after Sheen badmouthed the show's co-creator, Chuck Lorre, during a radio rant.
Sheen later parted ways with his publicist and went on a media spree, ranting about the ordeal. Despite a subsequent series of erratic ramblings, laced with what would become catchphrases such as 'Duh, winning,' and 'I have Tiger Blood,' Sheen has as of March 2011 denied he is on drugs or alcohol.
