22 of 48: In May 2011, Matthew Perry of 'Friends' and 'Mr. Sunshine' fame announced he is heading back to rehab. The actor has battled addictions to prescription pills and alcohol in the past.

In the 1990s, the actor became dependent on the painkiller Vicodin, which he had begun taking for wisdom-teeth pain and injuries suffered in a Jet Ski accident. In 1997, he checked himself into a drug rehab center to deal with the problem.

While he filmed the seventh season of "Friends" in 2000, a male sobriety coach accompanied him on the show's set. On Feb. 23, 2001, Perry relapsed, downing dozens of painkillers and drinking "probably a quart of vodka" on a daily basis, People magazine said, adding that he called his parents from a Dallas hotel room, flew to Los Angeles and had his parents drive him to a rehab center. He spent more than two months there.
