Amy Adams appears in a scene from the 2010 film 'The Fighter.' The film earned Adams her third Oscar nomination.
Adams had a surprising career path. 'I wasn't cut out to be a waitress, and I certainly wasn't cut out to be a Hooters waitress,' the actress told Parade magazine. 'That was a short-lived ambition.'
