26 of 32: Before his tongue hockey incident at the American Music Awards, Adam Lambert - Glambert to his fans - was rocking the socks off 'American Idol' viewers.

He did not win season 8, but released an album, 'For Your Entertainment,' in 2009. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard charts, earning him a Grammy nomination. His second studio album, 'Trespassing,' was released in 2012.

Lambert performed with iconic rock group Queen, once fronted by Freddie Mercur, who died in 1991, several times -- on 'American Idol,' at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards, at several concerts in Europe and at the 2013 iHeartMusic Festival in Las Vegas. On March 6, 2014, he and Queen rockers Brian May and Roger Taylor announced a 2014 summer tour in North America. ( Photo / Marion Curtis / Startraksphoto.com)
