22 of 32: Blake Lewis, first runner-up on season six, is best known for his multicolored spiked hair and beatboxing skills, but most importantly for singing his way into the hearts of America and judges. Despite losing to Jordin Sparks, Lewis did not give up on making music.

Lewis released his first single, 'Break Anotha,' from the debut album 'A.D.D. (Audio Day Dream)' in 2007. The album landed at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Even though he had respectable sales, Arista Records, his record company, dropped him after his second single, 'How Many Words.' He then signed on to Tommy Boy Entertainment and debuted his second album, 'Heartbreak on Vinyl,' in 2009. Lewis is considered the third-lowest-selling runner-up in 'Idol' history.

As of February 2011, Lewis is working on new material. ( Photo / Facebook.com/blakelewis#!/blakelewis)
